Devon is a principal blockchain engineer with deep production experience across Solidity, Rust, DeFi, DAOs, cross-chain DEXs, NFT platforms, and node infrastructure. She has built smart contract systems for major sports leagues (NHL via Sweet), contributed base-layer contracts to Haven1's EVM chain built on GoQuorum, authored a fintech & blockchain curriculum used at 20+ universities, taught at the University of Minnesota, and has been featured in CoinDesk. She is a keynote speaker at NFT.NYC 2024 and an upcoming speaker at EthCC 2026, presenting Blocksight.
Dr. Petrus Martens is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Georgia State University with three decades of NASA and NSF-funded research in data mining, machine learning, and computer vision. He co-founded NASA's Virtual Solar Observatory — a unified interface to 60+ distributed solar datasets — and was invited to the White House in 2015 to advise on the National Space Weather Strategy. He is appointed to the NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics Advisory Commission, advising Congress, the NASA Administrator, and the Secretary of Energy.

NHL Breakaway — Official Digital Collectibles
As principal blockchain engineer at Sweet, Devon wrote the smart contracts powering the NHL's official NFT platform — NHL Breakaway. The platform allows fans to collect, trade, and challenge with cinematic hockey moment NFTs from current and historic seasons. Launched in partnership with the NHL, NHLPA, and NHL Alumni Association.
Haven1 — Base Contract Architecture
Devon contributed foundational smart contract infrastructure for Haven1, an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain built on GoQuorum. Work included base contract patterns, ProofOfIdentity modules, H1DevelopedApplication standards, and developer tooling that all hApps on the network must conform to.
Studiochain Node Infrastructure
Node and blockchain infrastructure work supporting the Studiochain platform — the backbone underpinning Sweet's NFT deployments for major brands and sports leagues including the NHL. Involved blockchain node operation, network reliability, and smart contract deployment pipelines at production scale.
FUNToken Ecosystem
Full token economy design and smart contract implementation — staking vaults, vesting contracts, governance module, airdrop portal, and cross-chain bridge integrations. One of the larger DeFi ecosystem deployments in Devon's portfolio.
Winvote — On-chain Governance Platform
Fully on-chain governance system for DAOs — token-weighted voting, time-locked execution, on-chain proposal management, and treasury controls. Built for transparency and tamper-resistance, running without any off-chain dependencies.
Cross-chain DEX Integrations
Multiple cross-chain decentralised exchange integrations and market-making systems — connecting liquidity across chains, automating position management, and building swap infrastructure for DeFi protocols. Work spans both EVM chains (Solidity) and Solana (Rust).
